610x According to the description of the video,

Rep. Frank Wolf (R-VA) watches his campaign associates assault two staffers of Judy Feder(D).  The staffers had asked Wolf some questions, which Wolf refuses to answer.  In response, Wolf's people assault the Feder staffers, damage their camera equipment, pin one against the wall - all while Rep. Wolf looks on, does not say a word, and does not intervene.

According to "Raising Kaine"

On Friday, two Feder staffers approached Congressman Wolf in a public location to ask him some question. Two different individuals who were accompanying Congressman Wolf assaulted the Feder staffers, as you can see quite clearly in the video.  The first Feder staffer was hit with a cane and then punched.  The second staffer (as you will see in the video) was pinned to a wall and forcibly held there.  All of this took place in the presence of Congressman Wolf, who stood by and did nothing to intervene.

This is really unacceptable behavior for a Congressman and his "associates".  What is it today, with everyone treating the press with questions in gestapo like behavior?  And why isn't at least the "gentleman" with Wolf being arrested for assault?    If the Feder staffers did this to Wolf or his "associates", then they would certainly be in jail.

The staffers do not seem to be impeding the Congressman in any way.  There is nothing illegal about asking Wolf a question.  There is nothing illegal about videotaping a politician at a public event, in public. What is illegal, is assault with possible battery.  Wolf was fine with his actions, until he witnessed an assault, that was his mistake.  His associates are guilty of assault and should be arrested.  I don't care if they are 80 years old, and I don't care if they are Democrat or Republican, assault is a crime.  This really is just wrong.   Is Frank Wolf what we are really about with our Nation and Representatives in Congress?
